Hello friend..

Four Decades of Practice. A Lifetime of Shared Freedom.

I understand that choosing a guide for your internal landscape is a deeply personal decision. After 40 years of immersive practice and study in meditation, mindfulness, buddhist psychology and trauma work, my journey has distilled into a single, profound mission: helping you find a permanent home within yourself, free from the exhaustion of reactivity.

The human experience is complex, and my deep concern for that complexity is at the heart of everything I do. Whether we are navigating the foundational steps of mindfulness or deepening a lifelong practice, resolving early childhood experiences or exploring self-compassion…my goal is to help you move from a state of "reacting to the world" to "living from your center."

As a resident of the world, I have been fortunate to walk this path with students and groups across every time zone—from Texas to Costa Rica to Australia. Distance is never a barrier to genuine connection.

Let’s begin the conversation. I truly value the spark of a new connection and welcome the opportunity to hear your story. If you feel called to explore what we can create together, please reach out via email (chrisluard108@pm.me) or connect with me on Facebook.

I’ve been studying and practicing meditation for the past forty years, and while I draw from many of the buddhist traditions, I am trained and facilitate in a very inclusive, secular way.

Why Meditation and Mindfulness?

In 2001, after witnessing the tragic events of September 11th unfold in New York City, I dedicated my life to these teachings, so that I may be able to pass them on to others, with the intention of bringing about a more peaceful, loving, and compassionate worldview. Thus, I am equally fascinated by contemplative teachings, trauma healing, and neuropsychology, and I intend to teach from the intersection of these three paths.

Offerings

In addition to this, I correspondence teach via Zoom and/or Skype. When I offer these timeless wisdom teachings, I do so with an intention that people may receive deeply profound spiritual teachings without having to commit to any particular group, religion, belief, or philosophy.
